Fire Emblem Engage Switch file size appears to be revealed

During last week’s Nintendo Direct, a new Fire Emblem game was revealed. Fire Emblem Engage has been rumored for some time and will now come to the Switch early next year on January 20, 2023.

If you’re considering picking up a digital copy of this game, it seems Nintendo Official Site now gave an idea of the size of the new entry. According to the listing, the digital version will require approximately 15 GB free space on your Switch. Keep in mind that this is subject to change by release.

By comparison, the previous mainline Fire Emblem: Three Houses took around 11.6 GB from space. And the most recent spin-off Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes had a file size of 13.4 GB.

Engage will see the return of characters like Marth & Celica alongside new characters, including new protagonist Alear – with red and blue hair. These heroes will come together in a new turn-based tactical combat adventure to face “a great evil” and bring peace to the Elysian continent.

If you purchase a physical copy of the game, pre-orders for the Divine Edition – including Steel Book and Art Book are now available:
