The Batemans Bay service center is benefiting from a new layout and a range of self-service options, which are expected to be completed at the end of next month.
Services Australia premises at 3 Flora Crescent will have a contemporary feel for an âenhanced customer service experienceâ.
Government Services Minister Senator Linda Reynolds CSC said the renovation would make it easier to access services.
âCustomers are at the heart of the redesign and National Disability Insurance Plan services will also continue to be available at the service center,â said Minister Reynolds.
âLocals can also make an appointment to speak face to face with a member of the Centrelink services staff.
âServices Australia’s service centers remain open during COVID-19 closures with strong health and safety protocols in place.
âPeople are encouraged to complete their Centrelink and Medicare activities online if they can, but our staff remain available for those who need additional support. “
New South Wales Senator Jim Molan welcomed the upgrade.
“Staff will be able to offer digital coaching sessions to help clients use these services as Australians increasingly use digital services such as myGov and the Express Plus Centrelink mobile apps,” said Senator Molan .
The Batemans Bay Service Center will remain open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
